The 8 Step Revised Extension Design
and Quoting Procedure

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed several challenges to businesses worldwide. Here at Period Extensions, we are no exception.

With our customer’s health and safety being our number one priority, we would like to notify our customers of the approach that our company will be following during this difficult time.

As the pandemic forces us to readjust our normal procedures in compliance with the necessary precautions and measures for COVID-19, our revised process is as follows:

01 Following your initial phone or email contact with our office, a designer from our team will reach out to you to discuss your extension and renovation requirements. This consultation will be conducted via phone or video call.
02 We will organise to measure your property and obtain the dimensions of your existing home. This will be carried out with strict adherence to the COVID-19 regulations set out by the government.
03 After the existing conditions of your home have been drafted and an initial design developed, our drafting team will produce concept plans, which will subsequently be costed by our estimator.
04 Our designer will contact you via video consultation to discuss the design and may also present you with a 3D visualisation of your design. At this stage, you may discuss any amendments that you may require. You may be required to sign a copyright agreement as part of this process.
05 When the design and costs have been agreed upon, you will be presented with a Preliminary Agreement to sign, and a deposit will need to be paid.
06 Your deposit will cover the cost of a soil test, engineering and working drawings, and other items detailed in the Agreement.
07 Following the signing of contracts, a building permit will be obtained, and the building process will commence.
08 Construction will be managed by a qualified Site Supervisor and building works undertaken by professional tradesmen.

We are pleased to inform you that we are currently continuing business operations through these uncertain times.

Our priority is to keep our staff, tradespeople, and clients safe. To this end, we have set in place strategies to navigate the guidelines introduced by the government in terms of social distancing and hygiene requirements.

We have also implemented digital strategies to communicate with our suppliers as well as our clients.
